Paul’s career began in the world of photojournalism, working domestically as well as covering the middle east and Africa. Assignments have taken him to Congo, Pakistan, Rwanda, Antarctica, and Iraq. His work has appeared in Newsweek, Time Magazine, US News and World Report, and the New York Times, among others. After a decade of working for newspapers, magazines, and photo agencies, Paul branched out and started working more in film and television. Paul continues to work as a photographer on a handful of assignments a year and on personal projects. He also works as an educator, teaching photography workshops as well as hosting a number of educational videos on Lynda.com (LinkedLearning). While most of Paul’s time is spent in the film world, Taggart Factory is in the process of harnessing the power of photo essays along with audio recordings for a new documentary podcast project coming in late 2019.
